Sailing
With year-round sailing, we offer something for everyone, from complete beginners to expert sailors, including racing every week. There are 54 acres of water with three islands and different areas to explore. We have three slipways and four pontoons so launch and recovery is easy. Whether enjoying social sailing or competitive racing, you are sure to have fun in a safe and friendly environment.
Boats and Classes
A wide variety of sailing dinghies are sailed and raced at Maidenhead Sailing Club, from Optimists to Phantoms, and everything in between. We have racing fleets of Lasers, Solos and Albacores, plus a Menagerie fleet. For more information about club classes click here.

Sailing and Paddling are great ways to explore the water and relax, whilst staying fit and healthy. Our lake is a perfect place to improve your sailing and paddling with no tidal flow or boat traffic. Safety boat cover is provided during these sessions.
Racing
We run weekly racing throughout the year on Sunday mornings.
During the summer months we also run a relaxed Thursday evening series to make the most of the long days!
We have large and friendly fleets; perfect for beginners and juniors as well as competitive sailors. Full safety boat cover is provided by members on rostered duty.

Members with their own boat are able to access the club and sail any time.

During winter months there must be at least two boats on the water for safety reasons.

Open events welcome sailors from outside the club to take part in class fleet racing. They include events for Albacores, British Moths, Lasers and Solos. Some of our open events form part of class regional or national series.
